About
Clara Neuhaus
Psychotherapist in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Working analytically with adults since 2014, in English and German.
The person
I came to psychotherapy through literature — years of reading how people narrate their own lives, and noticing where the narration breaks. The clinical training came later; the interest in the inner room was always there.
Before Berlin I lived and worked in Vienna and Zurich. The moving taught me something the textbooks confirm: identity is more portable than we fear, and more layered than we admit. Much of my practice now is with people living between languages and countries.
Alongside clinical work I write, teach occasionally at a training institute, and keep a slow reading practice in analytical psychology, mythology, and the history of ideas. What I ask of clients — attention, honesty, patience — I try to practice on the page.
